Dr. Alex Greenberg
Veterinarian
Originally from Tallahassee, FL, Dr. Alex Greenberg earned both his Bachelor’s degree in Animal Science and his Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from the University of Georgia. He has been part of the hospital team for many years, where he cares for both large and small animals, with a special interest in small animal surgery. Over the years, Dr. Greenberg has completed advanced training in orthopedic surgery and fracture repair to better serve his patients. He takes great pride in helping the practice grow and continuing to meet the needs of local families and their pets.
At home, Dr. Greenberg and his wife, Mya—a local dentist—stay busy with their three children: Olivia, Gabe, and Ben. Their household also includes two cats and a lovable Great Dane named Bodhi. When he’s not caring for animals, Dr. Greenberg enjoys playing music, fishing, and cheering on his kids at their sporting events.

Dr. Elizabeth Kidd
Veterinarian
Dr. Elizabeth Kidd grew up on a farm in Thomas county and, since she was a little girl, her dream was to be a veterinarian. She completed her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine at the University of Georgia. Along with small medicine and surgery, her professional interests include small ruminant and food animal medicine.
Dr. Kidd and her husband, Bryan, have two awesome children, Luke and Lily, as well as four dogs, six cats, and a goat herd. In her spare time, she enjoys reading, playing with the kids (including the 4-legged ones), watching UGA football and shopping.

Dr. Ashlee Lineberger
Veterinarian
Dr. Ashlee Lineberger grew up in a small town in South Carolina, where her love for animals began at a young age. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Animal and Veterinary Sciences from Clemson University before achieving her lifelong goal of becoming a veterinarian at Louisiana State University, where she earned her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree. Dr. Lineberger is passionate about providing compassionate, high-quality care and believes that building strong relationships with pet owners is essential to understanding each patient’s unique needs. She strives to make every visit as stress-free as possible for both pets and their people. Outside the clinic, Dr. Lineberger enjoys spending time with her two cats, Abra and Levee, getting her hands dirty in the garden, traveling to the beach, hiking, and occasionally exploring her creative side through painting. She looks forward to one day adopting a dog and raising her own flock of chickens

Dr. Andrew Richterkessing
Veterinarian
Dr. Andrew Richterkessing is originally from Miami, Florida. He received his bachelor’s degree in biology from Florida State University and his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from St. George University, completing his clinical rotations at Louisiana State University. Dr. Richterkessing has a special interest in small animal surgery, but strives to be well-rounded, appreciating all aspects of veterinary medicine including large animals and exotics. He enjoys spending his free time with friends, family, and nature. If he’s not working, you can expect to find him fishing or camping in the woods.

Dr. Franklin Curles
Veterinarian
Dr. Bo Curles grew up just north of Cairo on a row crop and livestock farm in the small community of Cotton, GA. He is a graduate of Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College and the University of Georgia, where he earned his degree in Animal Science and later his Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine. Dr. Curles began his veterinary career in Cairo, with Drs. Graham and Maddox, before opening and operating Curles Veterinary Clinic in his hometown, where he ran a successful mixed animal practice for many years.
After spending time on short-term missions with Christian Veterinary Missions and helping establish the Veterinary Technology Program at Southern Regional College in Thomasville, Dr. Curles returned to his true calling—serving the local community as a mixed animal veterinarian.
He now lives in Cotton and has three children—Kristin Curles Baggett, Doug Curles, and Jackson Curles. His daughter Kristin recently blessed him with his first grandchild, Griffin. In his free time, Dr. Curles enjoys hunting, fishing, beekeeping, and spending time with family and friends.
